While village communities in India are unstable in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis, the ministry opportunities for our pastors and church planters is at an all-time high. Millions of migrants, who lost their jobs in the cities, have now been forced to go back home to their villages, jobless, hopeless, and sometimes rejected from their families for fear of exposure to the virus.
Our partners have been distributing thousands of meals a day to those in crisis. However, in their own households, many of these men and women of God are struggling to make ends meet. Without their congregations gathering during this three-month-long lock-down, they are receiving very little support.
