Mercy is a strategic leader with 20+ years of experience in public, private, and non-governmental organizations. She has a strong record of success developing and leading strategies, programs, and policies to increase the impact of international development programs.

She currently serves as an External Affairs Advisor to the World Bank Group’s Vice President, Human Resources. In this capacity, she leads global communication strategies to position the World Bank Group as the global leader in development and mobilize support for its work and mission.

Her diverse experience and deep expertise also include policy design and advocacy; managing diverse partnerships; finance and program management; integrating behavioral change into organizational systems; and managing women economic empowerment programs.
