Ministry Partner
Our partnership in India began in 1992, but the local Bible college was founded in 1952. Over the past 70 years, this Bible college has grown into a multifaceted ministry providing theological education, village church planter training and support, ministry training, and children’s outreach all over India. Their graduate-level college has prepared thousands of women and men who are serving the Lord all over the world. Our partners in India have reached thousands of people through evangelism and have a goal of reaching nearly 2 million by the year 2025.
Projects
- Education Without Boundaries - Mission ONE partners are transitioning an Indian seminary’s theology program into an online setting, attracting additional students to achieve financial sustainability so they can be equipped as gospel-led leaders in their own communities.
Relief Projects
- Covid Relief - Our local partners activated a network of churches across India to bring COVID-19 relief to families seeking immediate healthcare and grief counseling as the country experienced a second wave of cases.
- Agricultural Farming Project - This project was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic which left thousands of migrant workers stranded without jobs and unable to travel home. Our partners quickly pivoted in the midst of this crisis to create both jobs and food sources for struggling families.
Ministry Partners
- Kenya and South Sudan Medical Trust, led by Willy Komen, has been a Mission ONE partner since 2000. Willy and his team work in remote areas of northern Kenya and South Sudan alongside the local church, if there is a church established in the region. In areas where the church has not yet been established, Kensud helps build and support new church plants. Their focus is on providing medical care through the establishment of health clinics and creating access to education for school age children.
- Mission to Unreached People (MUPE), led by Janet Kosgei and her father Hannington Munyao, is an African-led ministry that mentors, disciples, and raises up African leaders to reach ethnolinguistic people groups with little to no access to the message of Jesus. After Hannington spent time in Sudan as a missionary, his heart for Christ and passion for missions resulted in the founding of MUPE. MUPE is mobilizing the African church to send out missionaries with local support to unreached people groups. Through its team of 25+ missionaries, MUPE focuses on empowering communities through their work in education, healthcare, and church planting. Mission ONE has partnered with MUPE since 2000.
- The National Evangelical Outreach (NEO) Kenya has been a Mission ONE partner since 1991. Led by husband and wife Wilfred and Rahab Githongo, this partnership ties back to the early roots of Mission ONE. Our founder, Bob Schindler, first met Wilfred during his initial trip to Africa in 1988. God used Wilfred’s testimony and ministry to deeply influence Bob’s heart, which led to the founding of Mission ONE. NEO Kenya has planted a network of churches using a cascade model where one church is planted and nourished, then that church plants another and so on—multiplying their efforts. Over 300 churches have been planted through this ministry. Through these church plants, NEO Kenya has a special focus on walking with and supporting women and children.
Projects
- Kipkaren Sewing Center - In Eldoret, a sewing co-op will provide women with the skills to earn a dignified income while reclaiming their God-given value. With a portion of proceeds going back into the co-op itself, this self-sustaining model will continuously give more women an opportunity to go through the training program.
- NEO Sewing Project - In the Kenyan community that once inspired Mission ONE founder, Bob Schindler, to establish the organization in 1988, a sewing project transforms the lives of vulnerable women and overcomes barriers to restoring their hope and humanity in Christ.
- All Girls School - An all-girls high school in Pokot, Kenya gives girls a pathway to a brighter future as it allows them to pursue a college education, compete in the job market, and contribute to their communities and the world at large.
- Murecars Car Rental - This car rental project is not only providing a reliable service to the community in Kenya, but it also financially supports the work of MUPE ministry and its missionaries serving vulnerable communities in Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, and Uganda.
- Maasai Tribe Covid Relief Project - Our local partners were able to provide a two-month supply of food for the Maasai tribe, meeting their physical needs as they recovered from the devastating losses of the pandemic.
Ministry Partner
Mission ONE has been partnering with local leaders in Nepal since 2009. Raised in a high-caste Hindu family, our partner is uniquely equipped to understand the cultural and religious dynamics of the people in Nepal. Our partners are disciplining those who are leaving the religious restraints of their past and developing local pastors through church plants. Their holistic approach to ministry brings the hope of Jesus to people while their lives are transformed— all through the local church.
Projects
- Resettling of the Cave People - the ministry leader is working together with the local government to help the “Cave People” community pursue better lives by building homes, establishing a local economy through a goat livelihood program, and equipping the local church in discipleship trainings.
- Resettling of the Musahar Community - the ministry leader is working together with the local government to help the Musahar people, considered the “untouchables” of the caste system, to bring relief and restoration.
Ministry Partners
- Evangelical Free Church in South Sudan (EFCSS) has been a Mission ONE partner since 1992. Mission ONE Founder, Bob Schindler, met him on his first trip to Africa in 1988 while Severino was a student at Moffat College of the Bible in Kijabe, Kenya. Severino had a strong call and passion to take the word of God back to his war-torn country, regardless of the risk to his own life. Today, Severino is a leader in the community and a strong mentor to young men who are following his footsteps in ministry.
- Reach Out Ministries (ROM), led by Idris Nalos, has been a Mission ONE partner serving in Sudan and South Sudan. Bob Schindler, Mission ONE Founder, met Idris during his first trip to Africa in 1988. Idris’ story is one full of inspiration yet riddled with hardship. Arrested multiple times for preaching, he has been persecuted and nearly killed for his outspoken faith. ROM was founded in a community where people endure gunfire from war every week, hardships are commonplace, and people are without food. ROM is meeting their needs, providing food, and praying with the broken-spirited.

Ministry Partner
We have been working with our partners in Thailand since 1995. Holistically ministering to the peoples of the Mekong River Delta (spread throughout several countries), our partners in Southeast Asia are planting churches, discipling believers, and developing leaders. With a strong belief that all of life is sacred and spiritual, our partners in Southeast Asia are building bridges to minister to communities through vocational training, entrepreneurship, and leadership training—reconciling the concept of work to God's intent in creation.
Projects
Our partners in Thailand largely focus on education. With the largest K-12 school in the region, 1,000 students are being equipped for a better future and an early introduction to the gospel. Nearly 150 students attend our partner’s theology and vocational training school, empowering young adults to learn marketable skills and become self-sufficient, contributing members in their communities.
