655 local missionaries are serving in some of the world's hardest-to-reach places, including refugee settlements, remote villages, and communities where the formal economy barely exists, and the church is still taking root. They are already there. Most are doing it while struggling to provide for their own families. 

A Flourish project changes that. Designed by the missionary and their local partner, each project is a small, sustainable business rooted in what the missionary already knows, such as a chicken farm, a maize mill, a tailoring shop, or a goat rearing operation. Your gift does not fund a program. It sustains a person.

In Uganda, there is a pastor named Thomas. He planted three churches. He led fifteen missionaries. He stayed even while struggling to provide for his own children because he believed God had called him to that place. A small chicken farm, the original Flourish project, gave his family stability and freed him to keep pouring into the people God put in his path. 

Pastor Okeny fled South Sudan after being attacked for refusing to hand medical supplies to armed groups. He kept showing up, gathered his neighbors for prayer, and planted a church in a refugee settlement. Pastor Leopold in Kyangwali takes any honest work he can find. Every hour earning income is time away from the discipleship and preaching he is called to. Pastor David and his wife Catherine, in West Pokot, have opened their home to twenty girls rescued from early marriage, raising them in faith and keeping them in school. 

One Investment. Faithful Presence. Lasting Fruit.

Thomas's farm now employs ten people from the refugee settlement where he serves. It is the community's only clean water source. His daughter Grace scored the second-highest marks in all of Uganda and is now at university on a full scholarship. But the deeper fruit is this: Thomas is still there, still preaching, still discipling new believers, still planting churches, because he no longer has to choose between his calling and his family. 

Leopold's maize mill will serve hundreds of households and give him back the hours he needs to lead his church. The girls in David and Catherine's home are in classrooms, growing in faith, with futures that looked impossible a few years ago.
